Other Musical Groups in the Area
Waterloo Region and the surrounding area has a rich tradition of community music.
You may see some of our fellow musicians at our Community Bandfest or Summer Concert Series at the “Barnshell” in Waterloo Park, the Waterloo Public Square, or elsewhere throughout the Region.
The Waterloo Concert Band is a member of the Canadian Band Association (Ontario Chapter) and was the host of the CBA-Ontario’s Community Band Weekend in 2024. You can search for musical organizations across Canada in the Canadian Community Music Group Database, which is a project of the University of Toronto Scarborough Library.
